Catfish

Yannaf Shulman, the 24 years old photographer in the United State, has received a painting picture which based on his photography. He found this picture is created by an eight-year-old girl who is named Melody C. Roscher. Then he contacts her on Facebook successfully. Yannaf Shulman knows Melody C. Roscher’s sister who is called Megan Faccio. Then they started a relationship in the different location. Yannaf Shulman decides to go to the city where Megan Faccio lives. Yannaf Shulman is so much curious and excited to see Megan Faccio in the reality. The network is not always the reality. When Yannaf Shulman sees the real Megan Faccio, this “Megan Faccio” is not as Yannaf Shulman knows on Facebook. Megan Faccio still does not want to recognize that she uses others’ picture on her profile. But Yannaf Shulman knew it as he sees Megan Faccio in the reality. Finally, Megan Faccio recognizes that she uses others’ picture on her profile and lies to Yannaf Shulman with his intimation.

The trouble is the filmmakers seem to be stylists and opportunists; Catfish has the slick gloss of hipster media magazine journalism. Its deeper questions are never probed.
